Children,
ages 5-16, are invited to participate in Elkhart County Parks
8th Annual Children's Art Contest. Participants will compete
for a chance to win prizes and gift certificates from local
buisnesses, such as Maple City Bowl, Encore Cinema, and many
more. |

contest will focus on a general theme of "Nature Around
Us" in which participants will draw and/or color a landscape,
animal, plant, or natural activity of their choice. |

Rules |
| |
All
participants are required to start with an 8.5" x 11"
sheet of white paper. They can use any drawing or color medium
they wish in order to create their artwork.
Name, age, address, phone number
and the title of work must appear on the back of the artwork
at the time of submission to contest or their entry will be
disqualified.

Judging |
Judging
will take place on January 7, 2010. First,
Second, and Third Place Prizes will be awarded to winners
in each of the following age groups: 5-7,
8-10, 11-13, and 14-16.

artwork will be on display at the Goshen Public Library, from
January 11-19, 2010. |
|
Winning
artists will get their artwork published in
the Elkhart County Park's newsletter. |

Ave., Goshen, IN between December 1, 2009 and January 1, 2010.
